This hybrid event features an all-women panel focused on the power of smart agri-food systems and AI-driven innovation across Africa. Bringing together leaders from diverse backgrounds—tech, farming, policy, research, and entrepreneurship—the discussion explores new approaches to agricultural challenges through AI and new digital technology, data, and cross-sectoral collaboration.
With an emphasis on climate resilience, intelligent landscape economies, and restoration livelihoods, the event highlights Africa’s capacity and potential to lead its own development through innovation. Panelists will share real-world solutions grounded in digital transformation and AI, demonstrating how integrated approaches are shaping a smarter, gender-transformative and more equitable agri-food future, accessible for all.
As the world grapples with climate urgency, food insecurity, and digital equity, this session presents a grounded, forward-looking response from Africa, offering models that are locally rooted, globally relevant, and ready for investment and scaling.
The session is designed for both in-person and online audiences, with 200 people in the room but thousands joining online.
